DDoS attacks: How to avoid them

Hey guys, today I would like to explain how the DDoS attacks work.
That is just a joke, I am going to teach you about what a DDoS attack means. Let's image that you are a telephonic operator. If one person calls you, you can talk him without problems. But now imagine that 10 people is calling you at same time. Yo are going to be very confused because you can't be talking to everyone at same time. So a DDoS attack is very similar to this example. Many users (maybe botswant to talk with the server, but the server has limitations, and if there are too many connections the server can fail.

If there is a hacker attack, a variable amount of bots will try to connect to the server and disable his services. This type of attacks can disable webs for a small period of time.
I want to tell you a personal anecdote:
~ Last week I was playing League of Legends and suddenly my connection "fell down". I was confused, what had happend? I picked up my phone and I searched for help. I was surprised. Someone had attacked my router! After 1 hour, the connection got recovered. I had suffered a DDoS attack... I had forgotten to turn on my firewall.

I learnt two very important things:
- Your security methods have to be always on.
- Protect your IP to keep you safe.

There are programs able to carry out a DDoS attack just by entering the IP and click on attack.
Important: Don't try to get one of this programs, they are ilegal. There are people who knows many ways to disable most of your defenses.

  1. Now I think I will succeed in writing a comment in relation to your article included into your blog. We have to be aware of risks that surround on the internet. A new malware has been found by Karspersky showing that "a powerful country, such as Russia" may have infected your router and if they want to, they are even able to control it.

    Have a look!!!!!.
